The Story
Hidden deep in a dark forest lies the Troll Kingdom of Ervod, where a young troll prince named Trym must undertake the adventure of a lifetime to save his father, King Grom, who has been turned into stone. Many years’ ago King Grom’s evil cousin, Grimmer, betrayed him and took the throne for himself. Grimmer maintains his power through a seemingly superior wisdom, but the secret source of his knowledge is an old 14’’ TV set, which needs a steady stream of energy. To keep his special box of wisdom powered, Grimmer built the mighty Drudgtrudgewheel, which every able‐bodied troll must trudge on night and day!
When Trym discovers that Grimmer betrayed his father all those years ago, and his mother is taken to trudge the wheel, the hero in him awakens. An old and mystical forest troll named Halfstone, an old friend of the King and Queen, tells the young troll that his father can be brought back to life during the solar eclipse, BUT he must bring back his father’s lost tail from the human world.
Together with his feisty girlfriend Freia and his two‐headed best friend Jutul, Trym ventures to the human world on a quest to find his father’s tail and save the kingdom he calls home….
