The Story
The mythical story of the Trolls of Ervod
Hidden deep in a dark forest lays the Troll Kingdom of Ervod, where a young troll prince named TRYM must undertake the adventure of a lifetime to save his father, KING GROM, who has been turned into stone. An old and mystical forest troll named HALFSTONE, an old friend of the King and Queen, tells the young troll that his father can be brought back to life during the solar eclipse, BUT he must bring back his father’s lost tail from the human world.
Trym is unaware that many years’ ago King Grom’s evil cousin, GRIMMER, betrayed him and took the throne for himself. Grimmer maintains his power through a seemingly superior wisdom, but in fact this magic is none other than 21st century human technology. However, in order to power his ‘special wisdom’, Grimmer built the mighty Drudgetrudgewheel, upon which every able‐bodied troll must trudge night and day! Those that fail to trudge, or who break any of Grimmer’s multitude of evil and oppressive laws, face the wrath of Grimmer’s twisted Hench-woman, MOTHER SHERRIFF.
When Trym eventually discovers that Grimmer betrayed his father all those years’ ago, and his mother is taken to trudge the wheel, the hero in him awakens. Together with his feisty girlfriend FREIA and his two‐headed best friend JUTUL, Trym ventures to the human world on a quest to find his father’s tail and save the kingdom he calls home….
